3 Bedroom House with Barbecue, Air Conditioner and Balcony
This is the closest Vacation Rental to the town (1 house away) of Lake Lure aka the Village or Land of the "Moose and Goose" "Beach" "Diner" "La Strada". Great couples or Family getaway as it is a quick walk to the Inn for a drink, El Lago and La Strada restaurants but is also a great family spot as it is private, has great Lake View and 5 minute foot walk to the Beach. Literally the best of both worlds.
Has 2 traditional bedrooms with queen beds and a sleeping winterized porch with a full and twin. The porch rocks! Respect the sleeping porch!
Lake Lure is a fun place to relax and reconnect. We were driving thru one day and stopped and had a drink at the Moose and decided to stay the night. A few weeks later we purchased our lil spot on the hill overlooking the Lake and town - we still love the Moose.
We have had fun sharing our places over the years and think Lake Lure is simply a gem of a spot. Great for families, great for a couple and great for a couple couples looking to relax. We are only 35 minutes to Asheville and Hendersonville and 45 minutes to Black Mountain.
Approved pets are welcome and we named the home Andy's Place after our 5th blind dog rescue. He loved it here especially the park and down towards the boat launch. That was his world and just a few 100 feet from our driveway!
It is important for our guests to understand that this is our home and we hope you will treat it as if it were your own. Our neighbors and the town are very important to us and this can not be a parking or noise nuisance problem - just have fun but no parties, large gatherings, etc. You get it!
We have been doing furnished rentals for many years and have vacation rentals in Wilmington, Asheville, Lake Lure, and Bald Head Island and our other listing can be seen at suitesonfront.
*** Note - 3rd bedroom is a sleeping porch with a queen and a single. It is great for kids and is heated with floor hear but is not air conditioned. Fans are there and it normally is great for sleeping although we do get an occasional warm night in summer.
